New York City: Day 6 - Empire State, Grand Central Station & more

Hi Guys,

This day involved a lot of walking but I loved every minute of it (not sure my feet did though, thank the lord for trainers).

The first stop of the morning was the Empire State Building. The views were unbelievable even though it was still early so it was slightly cloudy.

Shorts: A new purchase...stay tuned.

Once we came down, we headed to Macy's for a slightly more expensive purchase that I had planned on. You can see it soon in my hauls.

The next visit was Grand Central Station which was so beautiful.
It's crazy to think that it's a train station, definitely not like ones in England!!
We also grabbed lunch from the food court there and took it out to eat in Byrant Park as the weather was glorious.

And the biggest sandwich prize goes to....

We then went for a stroll past the New York Public Library

Of course, more shopping then occured after a stroll down 5th Ave (nothing got purchased there unfortunately)

We walked past the Flatiron building on the way back to the Subway

We stopped at Rockerfeller Plaza which was gorgeous and went inside the NBC Experience store where I could have bought every single Friends and Saved by the Bell item of clothing but I refrained.

It was then back to the hotel for showers and outfit changes for our evening out.
On our very first visit to Times Square we got talking to a ticket rep for a comedy show and got sold.
It was at the New York Comedy club and was just a stand up comedy show with loads of different comedians.
It was very funny and I had a really lovely evening.

Top: New purchase...again stay tuned
