After a late night from the fireworks we had a bit of a lie in before heading down to a diner by our hotel for a pancake breakfast, where I ate Blueberry pancakes mmmm.
After we were full to the brim we hopped on the subway to Central Park.
Our first stop was to find the lake and get a rowing boat before it got too busy.
We timed it perfectly as when our hour was up and we got off, the queue was ridiculously long.
We then had a stroll around the park, got distracted by entertainers and enjoyed a little laying out in the sun.

Once the heat got too much we headed back to Times Square for more shopping.
We then headed to Shake Shack for dinner which was super yummy.
As it was Saturday night, we headed back to the hotel to dress up to go our for drinks. After all, the holiday was my 21st birthday present and I still hadn't had any alcohol in America!
Bag: From a market in Italy
We had drinks on the Refinery Hotel rooftop and although the drinks were pricey, the view of the Empire State building was priceless!
We then headed back to bed, but not before getting very excited that we managed to hail a cab for our journey home.
In day 5, we get sporty!
